Learn More About The Goodwill Way

More than a store.

When you donate or shop with us, you’re not just getting great bargains or decluttering your home. You’re also helping your community. Ninety cents out of every dollar you spend supports our Goodwill programs. This is an impressive percentage in the nonprofit industry and a clear indicator of our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Creating opportunity.

Your donations have the power to change someone’s life. By donating to our stores, you’re not just giving away unwanted items, you’re helping us provide education and job training programs for individuals with barriers to employment in your community. Your donations can help someone find a job, strengthen the community and protect the planet.

Locally Governed, Globally-minded.

As a member of Goodwill Industries International, we’re part of a global network of independent agencies working together to create a more equitable world. With over 1,400 employees and nearly $50 million in annual revenue, Goodwill Southwestern Pennsylvania is one of the largest Goodwill organizations in the United States. But despite our size, we’re committed to maintaining a local focus and ensuring that the people we serve receive the support and resources they need to succeed.

And that’s not all. In 2022 alone, 56 million pounds of household donations were kepty out landfills through thrift sales, repurposing, recycling, and reuse. As we support a wide range of education and job training programs in our local community, we are committed to helping the planet and the global community.
